Calne Town Council have commissioned White Design, Jones LaSalle and Milward Oliver to prepare a Town Vision and Delivery Plan for Calne.

The study will identify where Calne wishes to be by 2026 and the initiatives which are necessary to ensure that Calne meets its objectives.  The study will be undertaken from November 2011 until March 2012 and there will be opportunities to leave comments and attend events during this time.   

The Vision is an important document for Calne and will inform the Town Plan and decisions relating to development  in the town over the next 15 years.  A website has been established to allow all those with an interest in the sustainable future of Calne  to pass on their comments and suggestions.  Information on events will also be posted regularly here at www.calnevision.white-design.com so please visit regularly.

The Vision document needs to ensure that any objectives respond to the issues currently affecting Calne and integrates opportunities that promote the distinctiveness  of the Calne's built environment through good design and considered development.  We therefore welcome your input.
