Community Grants
Calne Town Council support many community groups with grants and donations and are keen to work in partnerships that will benefit the local community.
Applications are considered at each meeting of the Policy & Resources Committee. Applications must be received 3 weeks prior to the date of the meeting to apply for a grant.

Town Mayor's Grant Fund
Each year the Town Mayor awards a grant of £250 to a young person who has demonstrated outstanding sporting ability and who would benefit from financial assistance to help them progress in their chosen sport.
The award is open to all young people aged 11 to 18, living in the town of Calne.

Town Mayors Civic Award
This award was proposed by Cllr C J Viner when he was Town Mayor during 2006/07, as an annual award for an individual/couple to be recognised for their hard work and endeavours in our community.
The Town Mayor will decide upon who the recipient will be and will present a certificate and award at the Annual Meeting in April. Only one award is presented each year.
