Calne's award-winning Beversbrook facility is run by Calne Town Council and home to a wide-ranging number of sports and community groups.

Beversbrook Confirmed As Swindon Town Training Ground - June 2015
Swindon Town have signed a formal agreement with Calne Town Council to use the training facilities at Beversbrook.
Having previously enjoyed the use of the Beversbrook Sports Facility on an informal basis, the new agreement will run for up to three years.
Former Swindon Town goalkeeper Fraser Digby, who led the project to find a new training facility for the club, said: “The excellent playing surfaces available at Beversbrook are perfect for our club’s footballing ethos and will enable the coaching staff to continue their hard work of developing the playing staff.”
Calne Town Council is delighted that an amicable agreement has been reached with Swindon Town Football Club. It is great for Calne and the Town Council is well aware that there are many Swindon Town supporters living in Calne. It is another great accolade for Beversbrook Sport and Community Facility in that the only professional club in the county has chosen Beversbrook for training its first team.
The Town Council would like to thank the club for choosing Beversbrook and for the time they have already given to some of the young footballers using the facility.
Beversbrook wins top UK award
The prestigious Institute of Groundsmanship has named Beversbrook Sports and Community Facility the IOG Grass Roots Sports Ground of the Year 2013 at the IOG industry awards ceremony. the award, dedicated to honouring sports grounds that offer their facilities to communities for amateur participation, was presented to Head Groundsman Adam Witchell and Facility Manager Kevin Whitehorn in front of 350 of the UK's and Europe's leading groundscare experts, as well as dignitaries from governing bodies of sport and influential sports administrators.
Mr Whitehorn said: " I think the community of Calne should be proud to have a fantastic award-winning facility on their doorstep. Creditgoes to the ground staff, they are the ones that stay on at night time. adam Witchell, the Head Groundsman, has worked past the call of duty. It doesn't matter what kind of weather there is, they will be out there. If it's raining or wet they will be there with their waterproofs on."
Beversbrook Sports and Community Community Facility covers 54 acres and provided the community with a wide range of sports, including football, cricket, netball, archery and tennis. There are 48 teams that use the grounds and sinceApril 2013, there have been 301 league matches, 465 training sessions and 352 tournament matches at the facility.
The Beversbrook Sports Facility vision began for Calne Town Council in 1998 and is now a reality. Set over 54 acres, the site combines state of the art facilities with stunning surroundings.
Set back from the ring road, easy to find and with ample parking is the ideal locations for both sporting and social events. The whole facility has been designed to be environmentally friendly with a low carbon footprint.
This facility proudly offers eleven top quality football pitches for hire to football clubs for training, league matches and competitions. All the pitches have under soil drainage to keep them in prime condition throughout the winter months. Beversbrook has six mini soccer, two senior pitches and three youth pitches. All the pitches are equipped with the appropriate size goals, corner flags and line marked to F.A. specifications.
Cricket Set in the beautiful surroundings of Beversbrook lies a state of the art grass cricket square.The outfield has under soil drainage to keep it drained during the wet months of the summer. To accommodate the high number of cricket fixtures, a top of the range artificial cricket wicket has been added giving the facility. There are also cricket practise nets for teams training to develop their cricketing skills.
The Pavilion The Pavilion Hall offers digital projectors for presentations, wall boards and A3 A frames, tables and chairs and full internet connectivity for any conference or training. With easy access, plenty of parking and walking distance to the centre of Calne it is the ideal place to hold any meetings or training days that require a quiet atmosphere with comfort.
The Community Hall Calne Town Council is proud to announce that the extension of the pavilion is now complete and the facility now also offers a superb venue to hire for receptions, parties and presentations. The building has under floor heating and top of the range facilities and is the perfect setting for all private and community functions.
